In the third quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps apps on the iOS platform in New Zealand showcased varied performance trends, with data insights provided by Sensor Tower.

Google Maps maintained a consistent presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 2.8K and 3.7K. Active users saw a slight increase, rising from approximately 302K to 324K over the quarter. Revenue was minimal, with only a couple of weeks showing any activity, peaking at $9.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a steady download rate, starting at around 1.2K and ending at 1.3K. Active users grew significantly, reaching nearly 18.7K by the end of September.
